Gibson Family Letter

Dear Family:

How are all of you doing?  Mom, D.Anne, Floyd, Frank, Cheryl, Carol, Les.  We (the Gibson family) pray for you, your children, your missionaries, and your grandchildren.  We love all of you.  Thanks for your example.  God Bless you.

We love spring.  General Conference was wonderful.  Mom visited Enoch for a couple of weeks.  That was fun and busy.

Elder Gibson (Eric) and Sister Gibson (Tina)  are returning home from their missions both on May 2, 2012 at the St. George Airport  4:30 pm.  We are so excited.  It is unbelievable that two years have gone by.  I can hardly accept it.

7 days later on May 9, 2012  Elder Matthew Gibson will be leaving Enoch to Go to Boston Mass. for his mission.  More letters to write and more prayers to be prayed.  WOW.  I can't believe that Matthew is 19 years old.

Our ward had a girls camp service project.  It was an auction of goods and services to earn $$ for girls camp and YM's.  One of the services offered was a family photo session.  So I decided to bid on the item.  Then it got out of hand and I got way competivtie with my neighbor and ended up paying $110 for the photo session.  We all had fun and I really hope our family pictures turn out great.

Earl Is involved in a pretty cool project with a partner.  They are having a great time creating a wind turbine with the hope of collecting electricity for the home.  It's awesome and he loves the project.

Joy:  Still calling on everyone to build their food and non-food storage for emergencies and interesting times ahead.  The name "Enoch Prepared"  has a lot of meaning every time I say it or write it.

James & Karla:  Bought a wonderful home in Hurricane.  They love it.  I hope all of you can visit them sometime in the future.  Seriously, it is an amazing piece of land and home.   Future Family Reunion might have to be held there.

Sam:  Did you all know he is living in Gunnison Utah....(contact me for further information.)

Melanie:  Providing a great service as a nanny to a darling boy Cruse.  He is almost a year already.  She also earns$$ by cleaning buildings in Cedar City area.

Tina & Eric:  finishing up their missions in Ghana and Texas

Matthew:  Goin to Massachusetts  2012 - 2014

Rebecca:  Really enjoyed going to school at Williamsburg Academy.  An on line high school with live video of the teacher and other students.  (Art, English, Biology, Spanish. etc. etc.)

April:  Did the on-line school too but didn't like it so much.  She missed her friends

Mark:  Has just turned 12.  Ordained a deacon and was called to be the quorum secretary already.  He is the best.  Every night he comes to my room and asks me if I want my feet rubbed.  Boy do I love it.   Then he makes fun of me cause I fall asleep and answer his questions funny.

Elizabeth:  10 years old.  She is taking piano lessons and she has a real knack for Spanish.  Her accent is wonderful.  Oh I wish we could all speak so we could talk to Karla better.

Love the Earl Gibson Family
