Sam's Family of One

HELLO everyone .

it has been such a long time. I believed i missed last time so it has been a year or more and so much has happened. the biggest thing that has happened is I moved to Logan a few months ago and I am going to school full time and looking for a job, but not too hard.

I am taking 18+ Credits.
my classes are marketing management, Operations Management, Discussion with Business Leaders, Management Information Systems, Sign Language II, Intro to Deaf Culture, and Social Dance-- those are the ones I am getting credit for. I am also on the Ballroom Dance team, taking an institute class and institute Choir. That is school life with lots of studying and late nights and early mornings. You know college life. anyway, after this semester I will only have two semesters left until I get my Bachelors Degree.

Lets see, I am living with Scott Robinson--we have the apartment to ourselves, which is great. I am loving the ballroom dancing; I just cant get enough. I posted some videos on youtube that you can find via my face book if any are interested. We just went to a competition last weekend and I got first in the waltz and quick step and third in the Cha Cha. it was a blast.
lets see, meeting lots of new people, no girlfriend. yet.

We had the most amazing experience here. All through the summer a choir was put together and we sang for the CES Broadcast in September. The amazing thing about it is there are 888 people in the choir. They liked us so much that we sang again for the regional conference here in the cash valley. President Eyring and Ballard both came and spoke. The choir sounded so good because angles were with us! So many things happened that should not have, like the mikes only picked up 4-5 rows, but when we sang they picked up everyone. It was amazing.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing good, and if you happen to be in the Logan area drop on by and say hi.

Love you all

Sam Gibson

Cook Family Letter Oct. 2009

Subject: Cook Family Letter Oct. 2009
Wow, the last six months have gone by so fast. I can't believe how much has changed for our family. We just got into our new house and we love it! It's a long story so I'll try to condense it for all of you. After looking for a few months at a lot of houses in the Springville area, we decided to get a house from Salisbury. Even though it would be a brand new house it was less expensive than all the older, fixer upper houses we had seen. The floor plan we chose has 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ bathrooms. We were very blessed and qualified for both the new home grant and the tax credit for first time home buyers. They built it in less than two months and we moved in the week before conference. We had a lot of help from family and friends. Thanks everyone.

Autumn (8 months) is growing up too quickly. She's crawling everywhere and standing up to furniture. She always wants to be part of the action, and loves playing with Kaden. They really enjoy the new house and are learning a lot of new things. Kaden(2 1/2) is now learning the letters and numbers and doing very well. We are loving the library and getting new books every few weeks. He's also filling his potty chart with cool stickers.

Since we're new in the ward, we don't have callings yet. Nathan and I get to sit together for two whole meetings, at least when our kids are quiet for that long : ) . We haven't met many neighbors, but I think it's going to be a great area. Our stake is the third largest in the entire church and our ward is the largest in the stake. Apparently our two elders quorums are about to split into three. There just aren't any more buildings to use.

I'm really excited about the new house and decorating ideas keep running through my mind. We'll see how many actually get put into action. Nathan is having a good time riding his bike to work since we are a lot closer to his company. He's getting exercise and we're saving gas money, two birds with one stone.

We loved conference and seeing our families. Thank you all for your support and love. I can't wait to read all the family letters and get caught up on all of your lives.

Love,

Kristy, Nathan, Kaden, and Autumn Cook

Nate and Rebecca Scott's Family Lette

22 Oct 2009

Since last October, there hasn't been anything super eventful happen around here. We still live in Clearfield, UT and I still work for Northrop Grumman doing systems engineering on the Minuteman ICBMs (inter-continental ballistic missiles). People say that sounds interesting but my particular job is basically just number crunching so don't be jealous. We are just glad that I was able to find something before the economy plummeted.
We have enjoyed the Ogden area. We've found plenty of hikes to satiate Rebecca's appetite for strenuous exercise and landscapes to paint. Rebecca's art has been getting to a pretty good start. She has done a couple of commissioned pieces and has a couple more still to do (mostly for family and friends), and she's done quite a few others that she might try to put in a gallery. She's pretty much the best artist I know.

We still manage to make it down to the Orem area pretty often since Rebecca's family is there too, and we've enjoyed being able to still see the family on occasion. We love you all. We look forward to seeing a lot of you during the holidays.

Jeff and Jill Scott

Alright, alright…I will stop putting this off now. I have enjoyed reading everyone’s letters especially when we are all so busy and don’t get to see each other as often.

Jill and I are so fortunate to have been blessed with such a perfect little baby. Hannah Elener Scott was born August 13, 2009 and has brought such a joy and special spirit into our home. Generally speaking she is a very happy baby and has just recently started sleeping through the nights (I am knocking on wood as I write). She is definitely spoiled with love (and hand me downs) from both our families. Being able to bless my own daughter in sacrament meeting was such an incredible experience. I could feel the power of the priesthood as we stood in the circle and gave Hannah her name and blessing. We were so grateful for the love and support of our family especially Grandma and Grandpa for coming after the late notice I gave them. Jill is such a good and patient mom with Hannah. She sacrifices so much for our little family. I have a whole new respect for her and anyone who has a baby. It is definitely a lot of work.

We are in the process of moving right now and are scheduled to sign papers this Friday on a foreclosed home in Magna, Utah. The house is near Cyprus High School where Jill and I both went to high school and where Chad and Erica are both attending right now. It will be fun to be in our old stomping grounds and maybe have Chad and Erica over for lunch occasionally. The house needs some work so meanwhile we are living in Jill’s Parent’s basement until we can get it fixed up.

I am working for Franklin Capital Corporation in the Repossession Dept and yes it has been busy lately. I am finding more and more how useful facebook and myspace are to find people who are trying to hide their cars….word to the wise – If you have these social networks, keep them private, be very selective with your friends, and limit the amount of contact info you put on them because you never know who is looking at your profile. Not to be preachy or anything but it just amazes me how much personal info people put on these pages. Jill is on maternity leave right now with USANA health Sciences and might return part time depending on the circumstances. She works in customer service and enjoys the people she works with.

With football season here Jill and I love going to the Utah football games together. Her Dad and a few of her siblings and friends get season tickets every year and we have really had a good time going to the games with them to cheer on our Utes. Other than that we hang out with friends and family on the weekends and just enjoy life.

We hope to hear from you all soon!

Love,

Jeff, Jill & Hannah

Les and Julie Scott Family

Dear Family, October 11, 2009

These past six months I have been getting bigger and bigger. (Aubrie 5yrs, said that I am beautiful. But then she asked if she could call me grandma, because her nieces do. I said “NO” . Hyrum 2yrs, says it is his baby and he likes to lay his head on my belly and give it kisses.) I am now 38 weeks and scheduled for a C-section on Tuesday. # 12 is due October 27th, but we are scheduled to deliver her two weeks early on October 13th. (It was the only appointment left that whole week, I wonder why? ) So I have decided that the 13th would be a great October birthday, because I really don’t want to wait another week and possibly go into labor.

This whole pregnancy, this little one has been hinting that we need to have a C-section, even though I was tempted to try a regular delivery again. 1st The hospital and doctor here in Port Angeles can’t do a regular delivery after a previous C-section, so we would have to deliver three hours away in Seattle for that. 2nd We had a placenta previa, which is an automatic C-Section, but that has since pulled up and out of the way. 3rd The doctor here finally communicated to us that he really didn’t want to deliver me here and sent me to the Seattle High Risk delivery anyway. (So once again I was considering a regular delivery again) But they said that they can’t “start” me two weeks early like I have been before, for fear of me rupturing and I have never gone into labor two weeks early on my own. And if I wait until my body wants to deliver, this little one would probably get stuck and end up in an emergency C-section like Hyrum did (only he was started two weeks early, so that chance would be higher). 4th A couple of weeks ago, when we were in Seattle for our consult and ultra sound, this little one was lying transverse, which means she would deliver shoulder first, which doesn’t work very well and would mean a C-section again. 5th, Because of my age and how many kids I have delivered, the doctors in Seattle would prefer to deliver me C-section anyway. And 6th Les is nervous about the baby getting stuck again and is voting a C-section too. We will let you know how it all turns out this week.

The next big news is that Jacob is getting ready to come home from his mission in the Philippines, November 18th and should arrive in Seattle the 19th. And Jared is getting excited to leave on his mission to the California Roseville Mission and is supposed to enter the MTC November 18th as well. They will be like “two ships that pass in the night”. So Jacob got permission to give Jared a phone call before Jared leaves for Utah. (Yes, we tried to work it out differently, but the boys seem OK with the phone call.)

Jared went through the Seattle Temple Saturday October 10th with his mom and dad, and Brother Blackham our home teacher. It was a long full day, but the three hour drive to get there was beautiful with the fall leaves and the ferry ride. The Seattle Temple grounds were also in full fall glory, with all the trees there covered in oranges, yellows and reds. The three hour drive home was starting to wear on baby and mom and we had contractions about every 8 min. making dad really nervous, but it all stopped the minute we got home and I lay down and rested a bit. Jared is also hoping to go through one of the temples in Utah with everyone who can go with him, just before he enters the MTC in November.

Parley has completed his Eagle Project! He is trying to get all the paper work and such completed and turned in now, he turns 18 on November 25th. He has also been doing really well on the Cross Country Team and he and Philip are looking forward to Track in the Spring. Parley and Joshua have also qualified to be part of the Running Start Program here and are now attending the Peninsula College full time, concurrently working on College credits and High School credits at the same time. The best part is that it is free!

Philip is also doing very well at the High School, his favorite things being Track, Woodworking and Choir. He will probably enter the Running Start program next year. The rest of us are enjoying homeschooling again this year.

Cory is doing well at BYU and has enjoyed spending time at both his grandparent’s homes and being able to see his aunts, uncles and cousins regularly.

We really enjoyed having Brittney & Cliff, Anabrie, Julie and Issac and Cory come and visit this summer. They got to see a lot of this beautiful area while they were here. They even brought their Kayaks and got to get a closer look at some whales that were hanging out at Crecent Beach while we were there.

Les has enjoyed his work for Peninsula College at the Clallam Bay Corrections Prison, as the GED administrator. He has also been teaching an Information Technology Core Class there at night. Les and the boys are working hard building a couple of storage sheds for all of our storage stuff. And has been working hard to keep our vehicles up and running. We enjoy living here and look forward to moving out of the mobile home and building a dream home here next to the creek on this beautiful property some day. We will let you know how those plans progress over the next few years.

Hope everyone has a wonderful fall and we hope to see everyone at Christmas time.

Love Les & Julie Scott and family

Heidi Scott

Dear Extended Scott Family,

This past year....I moved 3 times, changed jobs, had the longest relationship I have ever had and recently broke up :( and have had more joy and pain in life than ever before.

The end.
Love Heidi.

jk...i'll expand.

I am currently living in an apartment complex in the Cottonwood Heights area. I live by myself...which I love cause I can control the mess and the kitchen. I really like the place, it is close to the mountains which makes for an easy getaway. The back of my apartment faces some fields with horses and has trees that remind me of the ones Grandma Richardson had in her yard. They blow nicely in the wind. I love to sit on my balcony and read or just enjoy the view.

I was very lucky to find an incredible job back in June. I am now working for Zions Bank as a Sr. Admin assistant for the nicest guy in the world. He is very laid back and has been at the bank for 40 years. He is appreciative and caring and lets me be creative. I love my job and the people I work with. I do have to ride Trax into work everyday because there is no parking. It adds a couple hours of travel time to my day, but now I find it to be a relaxing time to unwind and read or text my friends. Recently, I was in charge of a month long food drive for our floor. I decided to do a BYU vs. Utah competition. When anyone made a donation, they let me know which team they wanted to apply it towards and the team with the most lbs. won. I had a cute display. I used a green kitchen rug and made it into a field. Then I had 2 laundry baskets (to put the food in), one with a U and the other a Y and they had goal posts attached to them. (see attached pic) Every Friday we did a tailgate party and I decorated the room in the colors of the team that was winning. We served great food at the tailgate party such as nachos and cheese, popcorn choose your flavor (I had 5 different popcorn flavorings they could add: Nacho cheese, Cheddar cheese, ranch, kettle corn and parmesan & garlic) and we served brownies & ice cream with homemade fudge, whipped cream and sprinkles. It was a hit. I believe our floor had the most donations throughout the entire bank. It was really fun to have a creative project to work on, and it was very successful. My boss is in charge of the Risk Management and a Franklin Covey program implemented throughout the bank. I have to write weekly articles and run lots of reports. It really seems to be a great fit with the skills that I have.

I started dating a guy named Josh around a year ago. He is an IT guy for Kennecot. We broke up a couple of months ago :( which makes the song "they say that breaking up is hard to do" come to mind. We still text every now and then and I miss him but am starting to explore the dating world again.

This summer I have done a lot of hiking. I went to mirror lake for four days with my hiking group and did hiking, kayaking and dutch oven cooking. Yum. It was a really good time. I love nature, it clears my head and fills my soul. Yesterday, Ben took me mountain biking. We did a simple trail up millcreek. It was beautiful with the changing leaves and was fun.

My health has been up and down but I have been managing. I would say overall, I'm doing good in that area, but down times become extremely discouraging and sometimes it's hard to pickup again. I am grateful for family members and good friends with listening ears.

Well, that's about all. Looking forward to seeing you all in a couple of months.

Love you!
Heidi Scott

Earl and Joy Gibson

Hello Everyone:
We are enjoying your family letters this Fall Season! Keep them coming!
Down in Southern Utah we are all happy, healthy and excited about life.
We miss James & Karla with them Living in PERU and are grateful for technology that let's us visit them. I am learning some spanish and Karla is learning some English. When we try to talk to each other, we end up laughing because nothing makes sense. (James ends up being the interpreter) But we are trying!
I hope James, Sam, Melanie & Tina all write their own family letter as they are all adults now.
Exciting new with W. Eric Gibson. Today, he was ordained an Elder and is meeting with the Bishop to get ready for putting the papers in. I am almost shocked that he will be 19 in just a few months. Where will he go?? Where will he go? (on his mission!)
Matthew is really enjoying being on the HIgh School Cross Country team and in a school choir.
Something new this year. All my younger children are going to a Charter School. Gateway Preparatory Academy. They seem to like the change. It is weird having everyone gone during the day.
Another new experience. Adam hafen is living down here in Southern Utah. He lives at our home and for rent he does my all my dishes once a day. It is wonderful. I love having a servant!
Earl & I are still helping our community get prepared with food storage and other fun products. We are so grateful that people are trying hard, they are sacrificing some of their money for this effort and we are all being successful and blessed. It is amazing.
OK Well, we love you all and wish you a happy Fall

Grandma and Grandpa Scott

Dear Wonderful Family,
Thanks for the letters we have received. They have given me the incentive to write--Yeah
We moved to Orem, Utah 10 years ago last March. We feel it has been a wonderful blessing to have such a nice apartment with Cheryl and Norm and their children, and a fantastic neighborhood with the church just across the street. Being more centrally located seems good for our family activities.
Many beautiful great grandchildren have come to our family since last Conference: Starting with David Royal Ross, Aaron Thomas Caine, Zane Aaron Scott, Autumn Elizabeth Cook, Clifford Isaac Hales, Chase Elton Sabin and Hannah Elener Scott. I am trying to keep a list besides recording them in my trusty planner. Thank you very much for the announcements, pictures, invitations to blessings, etc. Know that if we were not able to attend our hearts were with you.
There were four marriages: James Gibson and Karla Valencia; Ben Harrison and Leah Baker; Royal Hafen amd Shanda Berndt; and Jonathan Scott and Karris Eldridge. The ones we were able to attend were beautiful. We welcome each new person to the family.
At this time we have only two missionaries in the field: Jacob Scott is in the Philippine Bacolod Mission (the same one Aaron Scott was in). He will be home in November. Michael Scott is in the France Toulouse Mission. He will be home in January. It is different from the time when we had six missionaries out at one time. We are grateful so many have had the privilege of serving. Jared Scott will leave in November and Hans Hafen is starting the paper work. GRANDDAUGHTERS, we hope you are planning on going also. Great blessings will be yours.
One of the memorable occassions was attending the new Draper Temple with Frank and Elener. The murals were so life like I felt I was in the mountains among the aspen trees. The dedication of the Oquirrh Temple was a very spiritual time. We felt like President Monson was inspired to cancel all meetings that day so that we could prepare for the dedication. The spirit was so strong many in the congregation shed tears--especially Willard and I. It made me wonder what it would have been like to be at the dedication of the Kirtland Temple. There the spirit was even stronger. The building looked like it was on fire. Many people saw angels and spoke in tongues. Even babies praised the Lord.
We had no apricots this year, but we have been able to bottle many peaches, lots of raspberries and black raspberries for jam. Our white concord grapes were big and juicy, and we were able to get purple ones from the neighbor, so we have fruit juices for the winter.
Grandpa's tomato trees took a great deal of tender, loving care, but they grew big and produced huge tomatoes. The season was strange, so they did not ripen very fast, but we had enough to make some salsa and bottle some juice. We picked the green ones before the frost, and they will ripen in a box. Attached is a picture of Grandpa standing by one of the tomato trees. It is only one plant, but it is full and two or three taller than he is. We are happy they did so well.
I guess my main accomplishment has been reaching my goal of over 100,000 names in the Church Indexing Program. They say it is addictive, and that is true for me. I start a new page and think I will quit, then I get involved in seeing how old the parents are, where they are from, how many children were recorded and who else may be living in the home. It is wonderful when the writing is easy to read. I can see how my writing should be improved.
We are fortunate to have a generous friend who takes us to the temple each Wednesday with a group of people. Once a month we have lunch together. Two families have many names needing temple ordinances, so they encourage us and we enjoy doing the work for their families.
We have been blessed with fairly good health. Grandpa has had gout a few times. We are grateful for medications which stops it. My heart was out of rythmn for a while, but after a shock treatment, it is strong and steady now. I will have a cataract removed on Oct. 19th. The procedure is much better these days, so all should go well.
We have the cultural hall scheduled for Saturday Nov. 28th and Wednesday Dec. 30th from 9:00AM to 9:00PM for family parties. We hope you can all come.
We are grateful the Lord has sent such great spirits to our family. We love the gospel and have strong testimonies that it is true.
We love you!! Mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma, Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Scott

James and Karla Gibson

So here is our family new from South America. Umm I wil start with the Church, It is very different here and yet the same. Karla is the sacrament meeting music director and has recently been called as Young Women's president, I am serving as one of the ward clerks and also as Young Men's president, it is a lot of work for both of us but we enjoy working with the youth of the church (I think because it gives us an excuse to act younger that our age). The Lord has blessed us so much and keeps on doing it every day. We Loved watching General Conference, it is so wonderful to have prophet to guide us in these day. I especially like Presidents Uchtdorf's talk in the priesthood session (Work and learn).

Other news is our two Daughters, Gema and Sassy (a puppy and Kitten), They are a lot of fun and we enjoy playing with them, although they do cause us headaches and are great ways to learn patience, Gema like to pull Karla's plants out of her plant pots and has broken two pots, they both like to wake us up very early, Sassy like to jump up on our bed and bite our toes or fingers.

Recently I changed jobs which has been a very good change in our family. For the last few months I have been working with a company from Provo with a branch here in Peru. I helped manage their computer systems and networks, actually I am still working with them but only part time, and I also got a job teaching English with an Institute here in Arequipa. Since it pays more than my other job, I am working less there. I am also starting to teach my own private classes of English. My schedule now is about from 2 pm to 9 pm. Which means I have the whole morning to spend with Karla, we have really enjoyed the time together and we try to use it do do service. we have been helping different members in our ward, one friends whose husband works and she has a little baby so we help her do her shopping and play with the baby, we are also hoping to volunteer at a school for handicap children.

And maybe our best news is that we are planning on coming to the USA back to Utah, Hopefully in December so I can start classes in January. It all depends on how it goes getting her visa, which could take a few months, so as soon as we get it we will be up there to visit you all. We are praying that we can get in time to be there for the new year's party. oh and if any one would like to donate a couple of dollars it would be great if you could send it to my Mom or Grandma, I figure it will cost about $2,000, for the tickets and Karl's visa and all the paperwork.

Well we love you all and wish you all God's speed and Blessings, and we hope to see you soon.

James and Karla.

Hello My Good Family,

I am living in South Dakota at the moment, sort of but not really enjoying the snow! I never thought I'd see the day, but I have found a place where the weather is more strange than UT! It rained every day in May and the beginning of June, there was too much fog to see the fireworks in July, and now it's snowing the first week of October. Yipee!

There, that's what's new in my life... just kidding. I guess I can tell a little more than the weather. I was able to take a trip to Orem/Salt Lake for General Conference, and to see my family last week. It was probably the best trip I've ever had, so thanks everyone for making it so great! I miss you all, even though it's been about 3 days... I'll be going home again in 8 days, with a guy from Vernal, so I'll let you know how that goes. Until then I'm working in a ghost town, at least it feels like it. The hotel were I'm working is only seasonal, and the last day guests are staying here is Oct. 17th. Because of the snow, most things are now closed, and there are hardly any guests left. I'm really wondering why I came back! but it is pretty relaxing.

I'll probably see most of you soon, so until then, I hope you're having a peaceful, non-snowy day :D

Love always and even longer,
Carrie

Kathy and Bryce Caine and Family

Wow, has it really been a whole year since we last wrote? There’s soo much that has happened, I don’t know if one letter can cover it.

Last August Bryce was extremely fortunate to land a job in the IT Dept. of SUU! We absolutely love it. I don’t think he’s been home after 5:30 since he started! Elina especially likes to watch Curious George on daddy's computer when she comes to visit.

With the lower market and stable job, we were able to buy a foreclosed home in our neighborhood. With the help of wonderful family and a great ward, we moved in just in time for Aaron Thomas Caine to join our family. His adorable red hair was a little bit of a surprise, as were his lamb-chop sideburns at birth. But, hey, it made daddy say, "that's my boy!"

We’re grateful for the extra space and enjoyed having the whole family over for Thanksgiving & Christmas. It’s also come in handy since Cindy & Jenna have come to live with us while Ryan is at Basic Training for the Air Force. We love having the extra company and will miss them when they depart to explore the world!!

We love you all and can’t wait to see everyone at Thanksgiving or New Years!!

~Kathy, Bryce, Elina & Aaron Caine

Cory Scott Family Letter

Hello everyone
I decided to take a minute and write a little bit about my fun and exciting experiences.
I am at BYU my second semester, I love the atmosphere, and the things that I am learning. I got a job this semester working on campus. I am a House Manager at the Performing arts center, and I am in charge of making sure the shows flow smoothly and that everything runs as scheduled. I love my job!! and it gives me time to do my homework.
I am still single...I know that may come as a shock to some of you, but get over it. I do have my eye on a couple of girls, but all that is in the air. Other than that my life continues and the days and weeks seem to meld into one eternal day. I hope that everything is well with all of you.
I love reading your letters.

Cliff and Brittney Hales Family Letter

Not too much has happened here since April Conference…

In August we were blessed to come out to Utah for 2 weeks and visit my family in Washington for a week. It was amazing to see the Lord’s hand in the whole trip - everything just fell into place and was enjoyable and smooth. We were lucky to see lots of cousins at the Harrison’s and Melissa’s and be in Washington with our whole family (minus Jacob on his mission) when Jared got his mission call.

Since then we’ve been busy with work, callings, and pre-school! The girl’s and I are on our 5th week of our Brightly Beaming Pre-school curriculum and LOVE it. We also enjoy visiting Cliff’s family weekly and playing with cousins here in Missouri.

Anabrie just turned 4 years old in September, Julie is 2 and a half and just potty trained herself in 1 day! (Seriously cool.) And Isaac is 7 months, crawling and pulling himself up on things. They all grow so fast. Pictures are always up at thekeet.smugmug.com.

We love to hear your family letters so get writing!

Love,

The Hales Family

Cynthia Robinson Ferree and family

Hello wonderful family! I thought I'd get going on this family letter business so I wouldn't be the last one to write.

Where to begin?! Since last October plenty has happened in our little family.
Ryan's parent's took over managing the apartments so we got a break for the last couple months of Ryan's schooling (thank you thank you!). He graduated with an associates and pre-engineering degree from Snow in early May. In April, we found out that we're expecting our 2nd little one on December 11th, another girl. we're very excited for this new addition.
From there we got what was supposed to be an amazing job and moved to Ogden for the summer. To make a long story short, the job didn't work out and we were stuck in Ogden looking for work, wondering what we were doing, and praying about where to go from there.
Not long after that, we made the decision to enlist in the Airforce. (not a new idea, just sooner than expected). We moved down to Cedar City where Kathy and Bryce offered us to live with them until Ryan is done with Basic and tech school and we head out to our first adventure (We'll know where we're being sent in Late December just before Ryan comes back) The enlistment process took a while and Ryan got odd temporary jobs with SOS staffing while we waited.
The first of September came and Ryan was off to basic training at Lackland Airforce Base in San Antonio Texas. He's been there for almost a month now and it's tough but he's doing well. He graduates from Basic Training the end of October and I will get to go down for the events for the weekend before we separate again until December.
That's the news for now. Jenna and I are here in Cedar city missing our Ryan but having fun being so close to the family down here. We love you all and thank you for your support and love!

Christine and William Hunsaker

Dear Family,

Hello, This is Christine and William, we have had an eventful fall. Christine started school this fall at Weber Sate University. She is taking Health, Nutrition, American History and a comprehensive computer class. Her favorite class is nutrition. William is in school and has started his senior project, so the end is in sight.

We made an addition to out family in March. His name is Luke and he is a very large drooly puppy. He keeps us company on our walks and licks all the strangers that come by.

We recently found out that we will be adding another new member to our family in the spring. Yep, we are expecting!!! Yippy!!!

Well, that is all we have for now.

Love you all

Christine and William Hunsaker
