Jeff and Jill Scott

Alright, alright…I will stop putting this off now. I have enjoyed reading everyone’s letters especially when we are all so busy and don’t get to see each other as often.

Jill and I are so fortunate to have been blessed with such a perfect little baby. Hannah Elener Scott was born August 13, 2009 and has brought such a joy and special spirit into our home. Generally speaking she is a very happy baby and has just recently started sleeping through the nights (I am knocking on wood as I write). She is definitely spoiled with love (and hand me downs) from both our families. Being able to bless my own daughter in sacrament meeting was such an incredible experience. I could feel the power of the priesthood as we stood in the circle and gave Hannah her name and blessing. We were so grateful for the love and support of our family especially Grandma and Grandpa for coming after the late notice I gave them. Jill is such a good and patient mom with Hannah. She sacrifices so much for our little family. I have a whole new respect for her and anyone who has a baby. It is definitely a lot of work.

We are in the process of moving right now and are scheduled to sign papers this Friday on a foreclosed home in Magna, Utah. The house is near Cyprus High School where Jill and I both went to high school and where Chad and Erica are both attending right now. It will be fun to be in our old stomping grounds and maybe have Chad and Erica over for lunch occasionally. The house needs some work so meanwhile we are living in Jill’s Parent’s basement until we can get it fixed up.

I am working for Franklin Capital Corporation in the Repossession Dept and yes it has been busy lately. I am finding more and more how useful facebook and myspace are to find people who are trying to hide their cars….word to the wise – If you have these social networks, keep them private, be very selective with your friends, and limit the amount of contact info you put on them because you never know who is looking at your profile. Not to be preachy or anything but it just amazes me how much personal info people put on these pages. Jill is on maternity leave right now with USANA health Sciences and might return part time depending on the circumstances. She works in customer service and enjoys the people she works with.

With football season here Jill and I love going to the Utah football games together. Her Dad and a few of her siblings and friends get season tickets every year and we have really had a good time going to the games with them to cheer on our Utes. Other than that we hang out with friends and family on the weekends and just enjoy life.

We hope to hear from you all soon!

Love,

Jeff, Jill & Hannah
